Join the FTC Critter Club this Fall – a series of eight FREE Saturday events that will invite guests** to come to FTC to learn about and interact with some unique animals, including:

• 9/19 - Tamandua

• 9/26 - Kinkajou

• 10/3 - Spider Monkey

• 10/10 - Coatimundi

• 10/17 - Asian Leopard Cat

• 10/24 - Lemur

• 10/31 - Kangaroo

• 11/7 - Bearcat

This is the planned schedule for the animal visits. Please understand that these are live animals and that it may be necessary to change the schedule if one of our animal friends is not feeling up to a visit that day.

Each event will start with educational content about the animal featured, including the opportunity for children to ask questions about the animal. Children will then have the opportunity to meet the animal, and in some cases feed the animal.** Guests are welcome to take photos with their cell phone or personal cameras. Each child will receive a sticker of each week’s animal friend as well as an activity page with photos and information about the animal. There will also be a special face paint design*** each week to reflect that week’s animal friend.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets (no shade structures please) - these events will be held at 11:00 am at The Park.*  Each week, guests will be able to text in to enter to win the Grand Prize – a four animal home visit courtesy of B3 Entertainment valued at $1,600! The more weeks you come, the more entries you get!

IMPORTANT: Please do not bring food to these events. Many of these animals have a keen sense of smell and food can distract them.

IMPORTANT: Please plan to social distance in The Park. Masks are encouraged. Depending on attendance, we may divide participants in to groups and assign each group to an activity in a specific order. Various color tickets would be used to do so. Please follow staff directions regarding line placement and distancing. Critter Club is our first socially distanced kids event, so please patient with the FTC, animal and face painting staff. Our goal is to provide a fun event for the kiddos while keeping everyone safe!

*The events will happen rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the events will either be held up against the building under cover or be held indoors at 132 Town Place.

**These events are recommended for children ages 3-12.
